About
Kali Karakasidou Mott
MA, LPCC, MFTC, RYT-200
Hi, welcome! I’m Kali. I am a therapist in the state of Colorado providing holistic, collaborative, person-centered therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. My clinical areas of speciality are trauma, anxiety, spirituality, and relationships.
I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver. I have completed advanced training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
My pre-therapy background is in corporate and tech America where I spent many years as a product manager. I strive to blend the art and science of therapy to help you produce long-lasting change.
I have personally navigated some of my lowest moments in life with the support of therapy, mindfulness, yoga, and somatic work. It is a passion of mine to support my clients through life’s ups and downs with the same.

My Core Beliefs
Tenets that guide my therapeutic approach:
Interconnectedness at our core. I honor that individuals, couples, and families are interconnected systems, understanding that changes in one area of life often affect others. We are all wired for connection and connection is a primary need in human life.
Integrating mind-body-spirit and mindfulness. I recognize the integral connection between mental, physical, and spiritual well-being in individuals and relationships. I encourage clients to cultivate present-moment awareness, fostering clarity and insight in their experiences.
Nurturing growth and resiliency. I believe you are not broken, nor is your relationship or family broken. Together, we'll explore the strengths within you, your partnership, or your family. We will nurture growth and uncover pathways to renewed connection and fulfillment.
Promoting authenticity and respecting cultural diversity. I encourage individuals to honor their true selves, express their emotions authentically, and embrace vulnerability in their relationships. I value the diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and values of clients and integrate cultural sensitivity into therapeutic practices.
